NEWRGY, a leading air conditioning service provider known for its commitment to customer satisfaction. NEWRGY prioritizes keeping Singaporeans' home cool and comfortable year-round. They offer a comprehensive range of services to ensure your air conditioner functions efficiently, potentially saving you money on energy bills in the long run.


Design, develop, launch, and maintain a user-friendly and informative website to establish NEWRGY as a trusted and reliable air conditioning service provider in Singapore. The website will also be optimized for search engines to attract organic traffic.


Over a 7-days period, I crafted and launched all the website pages to achieve their intended visual outcome.

Understanding Client's Niche

HOW DID I FIRST APPROACH THE PROBLEM SPACE?

The journey begins with a collaborative stakeholders meeting, to immerse myself in the heart of the client's business.

1/ Understanding Client Needs

Competitor Analysis: Since the client didn't have a specific vision for their website, I researched competitor websites in their industry. This helped establish a baseline for features and functionalities relevant to their business.


Client Communication: Following the competitor analysis, I discussed the client's desired features for their website and clarified any elements they didn't want to include.

2/ Sitemap Development

I drafted a sitemap outlining the website's structure and key pages. We reviewed and confirmed the sitemap with the client before moving on to content creation and website design.

3/ Content Creation & SEO Integration

Building Brand Identity: As a new company, the client needed brand-consistent content writing and visuals. I developed content that aligns with their business goals and target audience.


SEO Optimization: Knowing the client had signed up for an SEO campaign after launch, I prioritized keyword research and integration during content creation. This will help the website rank higher in search results for relevant terms.

Piecing It Together

Streamlined Design Process

My design approach prioritizes efficiency. I typically begin by rapidly building out the composition of all website pages, ensuring responsiveness across various devices (desktop, mobile, tablet). This establishes a clear "big picture" before delving into detailed elements like fonts, buttons, and colors. Focusing on composition first helps me avoid getting bogged down in minor details early on, saving time in the long run.

Animations & User Experience

Once the page layouts are established, I incorporate animations and effects to enhance user experience. I enjoy experimenting with how elements appear and disappear, but prioritize functionality. My goal is to ensure every user action leads to the intended page or outcome.

Collaborative Testing & Launch

Upon website completion, I involve my team in a thorough testing phase to identify and address any potential issues. Following this internal testing, the website is presented to the client for review. I typically allocate 1-3 days for client feedback and incorporate their requested changes within this timeframe. For the NEWRGY website, the client requested a floating WhatsApp button, which I promptly integrated.

Reflections, reflections

NEWRGY Website: A Boost in Skills and Confidence

Completing the NEWRGY website marks a significant milestone! It's my fourth website launch where I've spearheaded the SEO campaign. While I'm still a relative newcomer in the SEO world (one month in!), this project has been a valuable learning experience.

I'm actively expanding my knowledge of SERPs, keywords, and other SEO best practices to optimize website performance.

1/ A Winning Collaboration

Despite my newness to SEO, I'm proud of my contribution to NEWRGY's digital presence. Through collaborative efforts with my project assistant, we were able to efficiently plan, design, and execute the website within a week. This demonstrates my growing efficiency and project management skills.

2/ Looking Forward

The NEWRGY project has ignited my passion for SEO and digital marketing. I'm eager to continue learning and refining my skills to deliver even greater results for future clients.

Post Design Commitments

Beyond the initial project scope, there are ongoing monthly tasks associated with this project, such as:

This includes keeping the website up-to-date with the latest security patches and software updates, as well as fixing any bugs or glitches that may arise.

This could involve adding new blog posts, articles, or other types of content to keep the website fresh and engaging.

3/ Search engine optimization (SEO)

This involves optimizing the website's content and structure to improve its ranking in search engine results pages (SERPs).

4/ Analytics and reporting

This involves tracking website traffic and user behavior to measure the effectiveness of the website and make improvements as needed.
